Haul Away The Majorette Haulers!
The sub-genre has fast become a new staple in 1/64 scale collecting. Haulers used to be a 1/18 thing with Mercedes Rennsports Trucks pulling silver arrows on their backs giving collectors who could not even come close to the price tags a severe case of the greens. Until one brand decided enough was enough and opened the floodgates of hauler ideas in 1/64 scale. Ever since, haulers in 1/64 and 1/43 have become more mainstream filling up collections globally.

Majorette has been introducing a long list of unbelievable look Porsche’s and their long PORSCHE PORTFOLIO is something collectors should look at filling their collections with. Making use of both Vaillant Racing Team’s iconic liveries Majorette delivers the TAYCAN in their unique green with a branded trailer attached to a rear tow hook. All the exterior features are pretty much spot on, and this is a re-release of an existing cast with the addition of a tow hook to pull the branded trailer which houses…. A white Vaillant 934.

UK icons come together in this slick pairing that makes use of Majorette’s BILSTEIN license to bring a bright coloured ‘must have’
The Defender is especially smart looking with gloss black body work and white highlighted wheels. All the casting in this set have opening parts. The Defender has an opening engine bay area and what’s really amazing is the ability Majorette has, to keep up great details at a low price. Some of the best details you can find in this price range. The Jaguar F Type is pretty much the same, basic casting but little details that add flair to the price you pay, complete with opening doors, plastic headlights and suspension.
PAIRING #3 – F-150 RAPTOR + MUSTANG GT

One of Majorettes best castings in our opinion over the last two years has been the Mustang GT. They have dropped it in many colour variations some of which have been absolutely stunning. This time it comes with an attached truck and trailer to haul its pretty ass around. Both casting in the pack share the same stylish metallic blue that should make the licensing boys back home in FORD very happy. Both vehicles have the FORD PERFORMANCE which is an actual thing like TOYOTA’s TRD. FORD PERFORMANCE has many cool cars under its belt, and we hope to God that some of them would extend to the diecast license as well, meaning more cool cars from FORD and Majorette.
PAIRING #4 – MAC GRANITE + NISSAN R35 NISMO TUNED

d the phone… after all the previous pairings this one seems a little out of place and Nissan and a MAC, we will have to break it down. There were a couple of complaints by a few collectors who bare their feelings online and a lot of them were puzzled by the choice due to the scale difference. And as much as we think the individual castings themselves are fantastic, we are unsettled with this compilation isn’t MAC AND CHEESE it’s MAC and cornflakes. So, let’s look at them in their individuality. MAC Truck though out of scale looking like an out of proportion Lannister looks great with matt black paint work on the body which clearly defines the chrome bits repping the metal work. Again, the trailer hook is in a strange place. The Nissan R35 is the return of a casting that was scene late last year, there are several variations of these GT-Rs and again another well done standard. For the match was a little hit and miss.
This is Majorette’s first outing in the hauler segment and their first ride has proven to be exhilarating specially in terms of bang for your buck. We can’t wait for Chapter 2!
