MINI GT MAULS THE COMPETITION! – Nigel De Zilwa
Nothing like some MARTINI livery splashed all over a GT-R
MINI GT is slaughtering in in the 1/64 scale category and I am not surprised one bit. As mentioned in one of my magazine articles, KYOSHO and TOMICA PREMIUM are going to have start pulling their socks up if they are to survive this game that has brought on new players, new price wars, and new standards. For example, TOMICA recently increased their prices globally leaving collectors questioning any further TOMICA acquisitions.

MINI GT on the other hand has slowly been creeping up with a lot of great pros vs. cons and set to eat into this already very crowded market in a very big way. This is just the beginning of their domination. 1. MINI GT is legit to the core. All their licenses are in check and proudly displayed on their packaging. There have been arguments about licensing in the recent past online but the fact of the matter is if the product is properly licensed then it holds value to the collector financially. Whereas non-licensed products may suffer depreciation dropping the value in the long term. 2. MINI GT prides themselves on replicating their models right down to using actual car paint. Another plus point for licensing. You get the original paint codes used on the actual car, one step more towards realism, 3. The wheels roll. I have no idea why that is so important to soooo many adult collectors but it is and too each his own. Obviously this has been a big point if brands are re-tooling their cars to make the wheel roll.
If you have been on the fence all this while, I join thousands of global fans in telling you, bring the hammer down and get yourself into Mini GT today!!!!
The SKYLINE R32
Nissan GT-R R32 Gr. A #87 HKS 1992 Group A is just insane
This is just dope!!!!! As a collector this ticks all my boxes. Car Check, Livery Check, Quality Check, Detail Check. The 1992 Japan Touring Car. The pictures speak a few words I need not repeat. But I have to say the paint finish really compliments and brings out that livery so well. The Red side mirrors on closer inspection are actually shaped aero-sport mirrors as opposed to the plan mirrors that usually plugged on. Details like this are what makes these models so special.

NISSAN GT-R R35 LIBERTY WALKS LIVERY 2.0 BLUE
My MINI GT LBW NISSAN GT-R Collection is out of control, beyond addiction. But you can see why…
Ogle all you want and then order ASAP. As usual Delicious a perfect LBW Nissan for the collection. There are many collectors who all want the LBW’s release so far so I have no doubt this one is going to be the hotcake seller. In fact those LBW GT-R’s are MINI GT’s gateway drug. I myself have 10 variations and now the 2.0 version of livery has only just begun. Goodbye 401K, goodbye pension, goodbye.
NISSAN GT-R LBW MARTINI RACING
This looks soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo tasty shaken and stirred
SEE! In seconds you are led to yet another enticing richly designed LBW GT-R in MARTINI Livery. Don’t you want that? C’mon it’s ok you can mention it in the comments. Maybe one of these days I will drop a picture of my all the CastHeads Garage LBW’s lined up and it will be quite epic. These are incredibly addictive.
Two Raging Bulls in the paddock HURACAN’s to be precise in GT mode
LAMBORGHINI HURACAN GT LBW in ROSSO MARS (RED) and WHITE (WHITE)
The MINI GT chaps don’t only do LBW GT-R’s, they also do stunning Lamborghini’s and if you go look at the LAMBORGHINI Website under the section of available paint trims for the Huracan GT’s, Rosso Mars is one of them. If you would like a better look a the red car check out our free magazine in the last issue for more pictures and review. All I can tell you, is that it was very very positive and from the pictures here you’ll see why. These are actually on the lines of TLVN quality for a better price.
SUPERCARS TO SUPERSTARS – BMW M4 in METALLIC YAS MARINA BLUE
Like the baby bear’s porridge….just right.
I think MINI GT has had a look at the competition and said you know what no ones doing the BMW’s right except for TARMAC WORKS lets show them how it’s done. And, with a very classy statement they give us this nice little BMW painted in originally coded paint which upon close inspection is very very nice.
True Scale Models is a brilliant brand and they do larger scales as well with the same dedication to quality under other brand names. But if they stick to getting this right and only bettering it they are going to see collector cult status and will unseat the dinosaurs TLVN and KYOSHO very soon.
