It’s Happening, Everybody Stay Calm! The AutoArt Lexus LFA is finally here!
After what seemed like forever and a day, AutoArt has finally dropped the final photographs of six of their seven upcoming Lexus LFA reissues. The legendary V10 supercar will come around for 1/18 scale collectors once again, this time made of ABS. The original metal AutoArt models have all either been stowed away by collectors or are commanding huge premiums on the secondhand market, much like the real car. This Fall, those collectors who missed out the first time around will have a shot at redemption, myself included.
Two of the reissues will be of white; Whitest White in fact. One will be with the carbon fibre appearance package and one will be without. The other colors include the Pearls Red, Blue, and Yellow, a matte black, and lastly Passionate Pink. Both the white and pink models will be available in September, while the rest of the group will be released the following month. White with carbon still lists “Q4-2022” on AutoArt’s website, so hopefully that date gets shored up soon. That’s the one I’m after, after all.
While I haven’t seen any pre-order offers from any of my favorite vendors, a quick search around Google suggests a $260 price tag for these V10 puppies. Honestly, I was never a big fan of the inaugural Lexus supercar back in its heyday, but I’ve come around to it. This model has been high on my want list ever since the reissue was announced! Maybe even my biggest get of the year…
