Otto’s Most Ridiculous Model is Coming Back Around, in an Outrageous Scale
Ah, the 90’s. A time when concept car designers were allowed to run free. Chrysler built an art deco land yacht that looked straight out of the 1930’s. Ford cut two Modular V8s up to weld them back together as a V12, and sprinkled triangles over what could have been the fastest supercar ever. Renault slapped an F1 engine into their family mini-van and nobody batted an eye.

Yes, an F1 engine from the 90’s, which means a V10. A 3.5L, championship winning, 13,800rpm, 789 horse power, asphalt melting V10. Juat enough power to propel this jellybean with four seats from 0 to 60mph in a face-warping 2.8 seconds. The van was shown off here and there around the auto show circuit, and even served as an F1 safety car in a race! It has gone down in history as one of the craziest, most ludicrous concept cars of all time. Because of its cult following, OttO has decided to enshrine this mythical beast in a 1/12 scale model.

1/12 scale is massive! That means this model should be over 15″ long, and the details ought to be downright insane. No, it won’t be an opening model; OttO Mobile only manufactures sealed cars made of resin. However, this allows for a higher level of detail and lower manufacturing costs. You can pre-order this huge model from Club OttO now for 199.99 Euros, which isn’t terrible considering what you get. Interested collectors have until December 15th to place their orders, and OttO plans to ship these out in February 2023.
